Hey everyone,
To those of you lucky enough to have made it to Comicon, welcome back! I am so jealous of you all. For us normal mortals, last weekend was spent watching live tweets from Comicon or trying to survive the national heat wave striking the country. For me, it was a usual Seattle weather weekend. Cloudy, highs of 60+ degrees etc. I did however finish moving into my new house finally. It has been longer than expected but when it comes to moving you tend to expect to go beyond expectations. The house is brand new, never been lived it. I feel quite blessed and fortunate to have my first home owner experience be in a new home as well. I've lived with my girlfriend for a year before this but she and I now own the home together. Its been a wonderful relationship building experience.
On top of getting a new home, which in its own right takes months of hard work, my girlfriend and I decided that wasn't enough stress. We adopted our first dog together as well. He is a white German Shepard named Yuki. My girlfriend tells me this is the Japanese word for snow. He is a bit of a handful but he is coming around to our way of life. He was adopted from a shelter where his previous owners were rumored to abuse him. This has made our training a bit more difficult but rewarding. You can see Yuki below.
With all that is going on, I am just now getting back to working on my new book. Its been months since I've made any progress. Which led me to the title of this post. It may take me longer to produce this story than I originally thought. I'm ok with it though, the whole purpose was to do this as stress free and professional quality as possible. They say that you can only have two of three of the following when creating something: Done Fast, Done Cheap, Done Well. And as they say time is money, I am opting to let time be the variable in this project.
I have very little to update people on so I thought I would share an answer to a question I've never been asked but always wanted to share. "Eric, what does your work station look like?", Well I'm glad "no one" asked. Because I just moved it I have a whole new set up to my studio. Check it out below:
As you enter the room, you are greeted by a 42inch tv and all the video gaming systems. Very necessary for when the brain is stumped:
To the left of the TV is the sliding glass door to our little back yard:
Going further to the left is the Wall of Computers. This is my girlfriend and I's computer set up. I am on the left with the corner desk:
Back to the door you can see our little love seat for sitting when playing the video games. Also my comic book collection is in there too:
On my desk of course is my collection of Supergirls:
And oh what's this, something I am working on tonight. I wonder what it could be . . .
Well that's all I have for now. I hope you guys enjoyed the update. I'll be commenting more on photos when I can! Great work and I'll touch base soon.

Melissa Benoist is Supergirl
Good evening Deviant Art,
I've been missing in action for a bit. Admittedly a lot of my time had been committed to developing my new labor of love, Supergirl.tv. If you've seen my gallery, read my journals, or know me in just the littlest bit you know I am a huge Supergirl fan. Hearing that they were going to develop a show, I spiraled me into a frenzy. I'm not a good writer so I can't be a writer on the show. I draw Supergirl all the time but I'm not a comic book artist nor does the show need any illustrations. I am a terrible actor so no roles there for me. The one way I really can contribute I guess was to build a site and try and
Yowza, Did They Just Cast Supergirl?
I've been seeing on various sources that Supergirl might have been casted for CBS's show. Its still all up in the air but I think the newest front runner is Claire Holt from the CW's Originals. I did some reading up on her and I think I support this choice. She has the look, the physical background, and has worked on CBS CW type shows before. What do you guys think?
I have a lot more information on my Supergirl site, www.supergirl.tv

I haven't posted any new art in a while. What have I been up to? Well I'm glad you ask. As self-proclaimed world's biggest Supergirl fan, I couldn't be more excited for CBS's new show all about Kara! I've been doing tons of research into the show, what is it about, trying to get to the bottom of all the information I can. I've gathered a lot and I want to put it in a single location that I can share with all of you. If you too are interested in the new Supergirl show, then check out my new fan site, http://www.supergirl.tv. This is my new site where I will try to post and update all things Supergirl. You'll be able to get news, polls,
Casting The New Supergirl for CBS
As many of you now know, CBS has made an astounding commitment to Kara Zor-El and her new show. They are literally trying to get her off the ground in her own new drama based show. I seriously could not be more excited! A basic plot was announced that didn't really give us much, but its something to go on. Kara will be a young 24 year old woman who's been on the planet for some time. She is aware of her cousin and his work but she is afraid of her powers and how to use them. This story will be about how Kara learns to use her powers and takes the leap into becoming a hero like she was born to be. To me it sounds like it has the best pa
